A comfortable spare bed and it is extremely robust!

Two of these beds slotted together take up only an 82 x 82 cm square of storage space.

A number of features combine to make this an excellent quality item:

- Slatted bed base with very robust structure made of oven-baked lacquered square tubing in navy blue with rounded corners.

- Highly resistant multi-layer varnished slats, protected by and slotted into plastic holders:

14 slats, width 53 mm, thickness 8 mm.

- Spring mattress with attractive beige ticking: L 190 x W 80 x D 21 cm.

- Headrest of 30 mm square tubing with four casters, so that the bed can be upended and moved around.

The bed base has three straps that are riveted to the tubing at one end and fitted with a hook at the other, to keep the mattress, sheets and blankets in place when the bed is stored upright.

Overall height:

When upright, the bed is 197 cm high and therefore fits through all standard doors and into lifts.

When horizontal, the top surface of the mattress is 35 cm from the floor.
