Set up in 30 seconds: a simplified hotel protocol

The pad is simply slipped between the mattress and the bed base, in the middle of the bed, under each person. The protocol is as follows:

Single bed: 1 pad for preventive use, 2 for curative use
Double bed: 2 pads for preventive use, 4 for curative use
King Size bed: 53 g format recommended

Each pad is individually packed in an airtight sachet for optimal storage. They are sold in packs of 10 pieces, suited to the needs of a precautionary hotel stock. Recommended storage in a cool, ventilated place, away from heat and direct sunlight.

Composition, regulatory status and precautions for use

These pads are type 18 biocidal products (insecticides, acaricides and products used to control other arthropods).

Composition: ethylene copolymer including Piperonyl Butoxide (EC 200-076-7, 6% w/w), Permethrin (EC 258-067-9, 6% w/w), eucalyptus essential oil, lavandin essential oil, Geraniol. Contains Pinenes (alpha/beta) and Limonene (D). May cause an allergic reaction.

Precautions for use: handle with gloves, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Harmful if swallowed, consult a doctor immediately without inducing vomiting. Keep out of reach of children. Contraindicated for children under 48 months, pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with a history of asthma or allergy to the components, and people with a history of seizures. Very toxic to aquatic organisms, dispose of the product and its packaging in accordance with current regulations.

No, the pads only treat the bed. If bed bugs have spread outside this area, a specialist company must be called in to treat the entire room, or even the corridors.

Do guests need to be moved out during treatment?

The pad is placed between the mattress and the bed base and does not in itself require the room to be vacated. This absence of evacuation remains subject to compliance with the product's precautions for use and contraindications (children under 48 months, pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with asthma or allergy to the components, history of seizures).

How many pads are needed per bed?
