The box spring with its mattress form a whole that is important to acquire or upgrade together, every 7 years in the hotel setting. The box spring is important for several reasons:
- it allows ventilation of the mattress and helps to draw off perspiration generated by the user.
- it absorbs 1/3 of the strain to which the mattress is subjected and thus contributes to greater comfort and increasing the life of the bedding.
HOTEL MEGASTORE offers several French brands particularly well recognised on the hotel market, each of them being specialists in a specific technology.
The mattresses offered include:
- foam: Bultex Nano and Mega ranges (economic foam manufactured by Bultex exclusively for HOTEL MEGASTORE).
- with springs: the Epeda, Simmons and Treca ranges. The thicker the mattress, the more comfortable and durable it is.
The bases offered:
- box spring: the box spring is a slatted bed base. These are covered with a tick and therefore not visible. A full range of box springs is available (see index).
- facing box spring: the facing box spring is a ready-to-use slatted bed base which does not require a box spring cover, the facing being covered with fabric or another material (imitation leather fabric for example).
